Did you know high-density flats are planned for Grange Road, right across from the New Victoria?

...and the New Victoria flats aren’t even finished...

🚨 INFRASTRUCTURE CAN’T COPE

🚍 Overcrowded buses
🚧 Constant construction
🚗 Heavy traffic
🅿️ No parking for existing residents and local businesses
🏥 Pressure on GPs, schools, and services
🌫️ Pollution
⚠️ Hampden events = gridlock

THIS ISN’T FUTURE PLANNING — IT’S HAPPENING NOW...!!!

Now we face more noise, less light, less privacy, and lower property value as the area will become less sought after.

Is this what we want for our neighbourhood?

Broken promises  —  New Victoria has had multiple reports of construction defects and delays, resulting in numerous complaints.

Promises that the flats are for “affordable housing” — in an already packed neighbourhood.

Is that fair for anyone!?

🚧 THE BLUE FENCE NEEDS TO COME DOWN, and this space needs to be developed to benefit the community.

What about:
🏠 Houses, not cheaply built high-density blocks
🚲 Parking and secure bike storage
🏋️ A local gym or wellness centre
🌳 Green accessible breakout space for the hospital, college, and local businesses
