Cows are considered holy, motherly and so much more in Indian culture but when these cows are on the roads, desperate, hungry and helpless, where is the same dedication towards these animals that was being portrayed earlier? 

One year ago, I had taken this issue to my hands. I wrote a complaint to the central government on this issue but in vain. Today I want you to help in changing this!

What is the problem?

With increasing urbanization and development, trains, trams, expressways, NH's and many other are built. With this come the high-speed vehicles. You can guess what happens next. These innocent creatures find themselves in front of these vehicles. Only day-before-yesterday a cow appeared in front of my car! (not injured).  NOT ONLY due to motor-accidents but they also die from eating plastics, hunger and diseases.

 

Where does the problem arise from?

• After mechanization in farms, cattle is useless, 
• After a cow stops giving milk, it is useless. 

Due to this, the cow becomes a burden to its owner. When the owner can't sell the cow (slaughtering laws prohibit the slaughtering of cows), he abandons the cow, hence the problems.

Government's response

The govt. made many goshalas or cow shelters but it is MISMANAGED. The govt. sanctions crores to handle this situation but no changes seen.

So what?!

Any human with even a bit of humanity or kindness would find the above problem horrendous. 

What is going to change?

Accidents and human casualties would reduce by ten-fold. Animals would not DIE in vain. Urbanisation would reach peaks. 

Here's the deal!

What is the basic meaning of a democracy? We the people can change a LOT OF THINGS if we WORK TOGETHER. We just need to voice this problem LOUD AND CLEAR.
