Save TikTok From Being Banned in the US

Save TikTok From Being Banned in the US
The Issue
This app brought memories, influence, education, and happiness all from short videos. TikTok isn’t just for fun, it’s a platform that helps millions of people. Small businesses use it to grow and reach customers, and influencers rely on it to share their content and make a living. If TikTok is banned, many people will lose a way to support themselves and connect with others. Millions of US citizens are more than disappointed over the decision of the government as it's unconstitutional and goes against our first amendment rights, they say that the app tracks our data and is associated with communism when the CEO, Shou Zi Chew is of Singaporean nationality and may soon apply for American citizenship.
TikTok has been a place to learn and share important information, as well as education. During COVID-19, it brought us together as a community, creating memories and new connections, and as we used it, the app skyrocketed to #2 on the App Store. Banning it would silence creativity, harm free speech, and take away opportunities for millions. Instead of focusing on TikTok, we should address bigger issues like school shootings and abortion rights. Together, we can come together as a nation, protect our voices, and speak our minds.
