LET'S SAVE TELETOON!!!

I just found out today that Corus entertainment is doing the unthinkable and scrapping Teletoon, our beloved Canadian animation station, and replacing it with the American garbage that is Cartoon Network! I personally feel this is an absolutely deplorable and disgusting decision, that a once PROUDLY CANADIAN company would sink to such levels as to betray its Canadian roots and audience like this! We've already lost too much Canadian content, and beloved Canadian stations are slowly being swallowed up and turned American! THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!

I have SO MANY wonderful memories growing up with Teletoon, the most prevalent being when 12/13 year old me would sneak out of bed at 2 am to go and watch DragonBall Z, among other things. I had hoped to carry on that tradition with my own future children... But now those dreams are dashed! 

Please everyone stand with me, speak up, and LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD! Let Corus know that we WILL NOT STAND for this further loss of Canadian content. WE are the ones that have the control, so let's hit them where it hurts. THEIR VIEWS AND RATINGS! Don't let corporate greed and corruption ruin the wonderful Canadian content that we grew up with, and don't let them take it away from our children either! 

I for one WILL BOYCOTT every single Corus channel if they follow through with this horrible decision. I will not watch YTV, I will not watch History, I will not watch HGTV...or ANY OTHER CORUS RELATED CHANNEL! And if a show I wish to watch is on a Corus channel, I'll download it instead. I urge you all to do the same, speak with your money! If we all band together and crap on their ratings, they'll realize how hard they screwed up.

Stand with me, don't let them whittle away more and more of our beloved Canadian content. don't let them take this from us and our children. Let Corus know... WE DO NOT WANT THIS! WE WANT OUR BELOVED 100% CANADIAN CHANNEL! WE WANT TELETOON! KEEP IT CANADIAN!

BOYCOTT CORUS UNTIL THEY SAVE TELETOON!!!
