This game series was my childhood back in COVID I had a poster of the yo Kai watch 4 game cover so I could be reminded of one day getting it in english. I never did. Yo Kai has made me who I am.
This series came to the US when I was little. One day, as I was watching TV, I saw the first episode of the anime and immediately fell in love. The joy I felt seeing the toys and merch of a thing I loved was great. I have the first, second and third games, including all 3 versions of 2 (no Blasters, unfortunately). I was saddened when I started seeing less stuff in stores, and then at some point, the anime went away. The games being all on 3DS within a relatively short span of each other probably burned out interest and put people off, which is upsetting. Every time I remember the series, it feels like there's been a hole left in my heart. If 4 were to come to the West, it would fill me with great happiness. It's a shame how this series faded into irrelevance over here. I don't care if this is a bit much, I love Yo-kai Watch. Please, let us experience this game.
It is now 2025 and still no indication that they intend to revive this game mode. It’s frankly pathetic that they just completely severed this mode which I know was popular among a lot of their players. The private games are just completely dysfunctional. It’s infested with morons that will kick and block you for picking a character they don’t want. You can’t even play for 5 minutes without someone quitting and ruining it for everyone else. At least you were penalized for leaving a public match. I hope that we see this mode again soon as it was the only reason I, and many others, even bought the game in the first place.
Sometimes I want to be more discreet with my earplugs in public because I don’t want people to think I’m being rude. The iridescent colorway is more invisible while still being pretty. The last thing I want when I’m overstimulated is other people asking me what’s in my ear or why I’m wearing earplugs.
