Time is running out to save Pounds House. Tudor Evans and the Labour administration have published a notice to dispose of Pounds House. All objections must be received by 1st May 2025.

Labour have made Pounds House an issue at numerous elections. Cllrs Jeremy Goslin and Sarah Allen promised to return it to community use and provide an expanded library time and time again to get elected.

Now that Labour have all three council seats in Peverell and control the council, Pounds House seems to be no longer important to them and is being put up for sale to the highest bidder, including some of the surrounding land.

Like the winter fuel allowance and Rachel Reeves’ tax rises, Labour are being disingenuous and haven’t been straight with the people of Plymouth.

We the undersigned urge Tudor Evans and Peverell’s three Labour councillors to stop taking our community for granted and secure Pounds House for future community uses before it’s lost to the city forever.
