It’s been confirmed that two McColls shops are to close in Milton and Locking Rd, Weston-super- Mare.

We understand the huge challenges businesses - as well as residents- are facing at the moment and this is very sad, and bad news for all the customers and staff.

As local councillors we are very concerned about what this means for vital Post Offices like that in McColls in Milton.

We will be writing and lobbying the Post Office to urge that a suitable local site is found for the Milton shop’s Post Office counter.
Please let us know how important the Post Office is to you!

Morrisons have said said that it would delay the closure of 55 of the McColl’s stores that house Post Office counters until next year to “enable them to serve their communities through Christmas and to allow the Post Office additional time to make alternative arrangements”.

We must fight to keep these local services so please add you name and let them know how much you value this service !
