We are the residents of Packmoor Village.  We have a simple message that needs to be delivered to "Stoke on trent City council".

Following the consultation meeting that took place on 16/12/2024 3.30 to 6.30pm, I feel the need to start this petition to protest the Councils future plans for Packmoor.

It became quite clear that the City Council has housing plans estimated at 938 houses for the Packmoor greenlands and green fields, but have absolutely no intention of sharing these plans or any real factual information with the residents of packmoor at this stage.

We cannot trust this Labour Council. Therefore Positive action is now required by the residents of Packmoor.

If these houses are approved for construction, ask yourself some simple questions!

·         Do they have major plans to increase school capacity, and other local services?

·         Do they have plans to improve and update the road network around Packmoor? (which already suffers from over capacity during peak hours)

·         Will these houses be used for Non-British immigrants either legal or illegal?

·         Will we get extra Police, Doctors, Hospitals, Dentists etc?

·         Our village of  Packmoor is a small village hamlet, do we want it to become a town and concrete jungle?

There are so many more questions, but the Council at this stage are very lacking in any factual information on what their true plans are.

If you OBJECT to these proposed plans, then please cast your vote and complete the petition and vote to stop these plans.

The result of this petition will be passed on to the Stoke-on-Trent Council planning officer, and our MP David Williams.
