Picture taken this afternoon during the Friday work day. Apparently no one is showing up for work at the golf course on Fridays now. No, people are not away on lunch break. This has been going on for several months.
The golf course irrigation piping continues to sit on the golf course parking lot. The piping was delivered months ago. In the beginning construction crews were working Monday through Friday including 1/2 the day on Saturdays, off Sunday.
Obviously the work schedule has changed. However, continuing to see no improvements being made, no one showing up at the golf course on Friday, no work being done on Saturday and Sunday. This has become a concern for many of us, and we are beginning to wonder what is going on with the golf course redevelopment project.
The weather is no longer excessively hot and a sensible person would think this time of year is the perfect time to continue the work on the golf course project. Still to this day there’s been no updates on the LAVEEN 140 website.
Last update was approximately 4 months ago. Did city permits fall through? Did funding dry up? Is there a change in plans? What’s going on? The fact nothing appears to be moving forward is alarming to say the least.
I urge Cottonfields Community residents to consider contacting LAVEEN 140. Additionally they should mention their concerns in the next HOA meeting. Thank you for your time.
Note: Please do your own research and due diligence.
