First and foremost I would like to thank each and every one of you who have signed this petition. A special thanks to those who have donated to keep this petition reaching the top of daily searches within this platform. Cottonfields Community subdivision consists of 450 single family residential properties. We’ve received support from nearby communities throughout Laveen and people across the country. Thank you!

My initial goal was to hit at least 500 signatures and today marks the beginning of new goals. More importantly the main purpose for creating this petition is to make sure Cottonfields Community Homeowners have a safe place to communicate their opinions, their ideas and provide any suggestions they may have regarding the Southern Ridge Golf Course ownership development project.

I’ve heard the word futile used to describe this petition. I’ve heard the statement, “It sure had some momentum.” Lastly, I’ve heard, “What a waste of time.” No other person nor organization at Cottonfields Community has chronicled a more thorough representation regarding what’s been happening the past 7 months.

People have said if I didn’t post the most current update regarding Laveen 140’s May 10th, 2023 meeting they would not have known such a meeting existed. Thanks to this petition a few extra people were made aware of the meetings and plan to attend them. This petition is serving multiple purposes. Futile not and the momentum is still happening!

The people who prefer to give up, stick their head in the sand and wait until this all goes away are the futile ones. For those of us who are not afraid to spread awareness, voice our opinions, share our ideas and continue to engage. We are the change!

Thank you for your signatures, your engagement, your contribution and continued support. Our work is not done!

Note: Please do your own research and due diligence.
