SAVE CHURCH HOUSE FARM GETAWAYS
The Issue
Save Church House Farm Getaways!
Shane O’Neill and Bonnie Fisher have poured their life savings into transforming Church House Farm Getaways near Carmarthen into an award-winning campsite with 29 pitches and 3 glamping pods.
Now, Carmarthenshire Council has ordered them to demolish their toilet & shower block, reception, and glamping pods — giving them just 3 months to comply over alleged planning issues. This could mean closing the site for good. The site is loved by locals and visitors alike, hugely boosting tourism and the community spirit.
The couple bought the property in 2021, and began the great clear up as it had been neglected through Covid, and turning it back into a local gem. They’ve appealed for more time and are applying for a certificate of lawfulness to show that it has been a busy and flourishing campsite for decades.
In order to prove this they need evidence so If you’ve stayed here at any time over the past 20 years, we’d love to hear from you. Any stories, memories, or photographs from your stay could help save the site.

We believe this thriving, family-run business should be supported — not shut down. Please sign to help save Church House Farm Getaways!
