After President Trump gloriously renamed the Gulf of America, a decision which the United States, Google, and presumably the rest of the world acknowledged as brilliant and correct and very smart, people all over the planet breathed a sigh of relief.  However, upon closer inspection, we are still subject to insidious Mexican influence upon these United States.

This petition is simple: we rename New Mexico to reflect American superiority over the dangerous allies we're forced to share a continent with.  Now, the obvious choice would be something like "Left Texas", but that only pulls the yarn from this sweater a little further.  Texas itself comes from the Mexican name Tejas, and therefore must also be renamed.

There remains only one logical solution to these hopelessly entangled problems: we must immediately correct this historic national embarrassment and fully embrace our newly reminted states, Baja Oklahoma and New Oklahoma.  I'm not one of those "government experts", but I suspect this change will require very little cost, only to change a few signs that say "Welcome to Texas", or their equivalent in New Oklahoma.  And because I haven't considered any additional ways this would impact anything at all, I am confident that those impacts would be non-existent.
