Dont Let This Petition Slow Down-- We've Done So Much For Amazon

For a decade nonprofits have asked their supporters to "Shop AmazonSmile" because of the .5% they get back... but have you ever considered just how much FREE ADVERTISING that was for Amazon? 

A full decade of nonprofits urging their supporters to use AmazonSmile surely made Amazon's profits soar-- and all they had to pay for us asking our supporters was a half a percent. People who never used Amazon before took to the store in an effort to maximize the impact of their purchases. A symbiotic relationship, though heavily in Amazon's favor. Now that they have over 197 million customers (as of 2022), ending this program won't impact their bottom line........

But it WILL impact OUR efforts in the nonprofit world. Don't let this petition slow down now. 

If anything, it's time to share more than ever and let Amazon know what their CUSTOMERS want. If you visit the Amazon and AmazonSmile facebook, the comments are FILLED with people voicing their unhappiness about this decision: they just need to know this petition exists.
