5,000 Signature Milestone: It's About ALL NonProfits!

While this petition references an animal rescue and many other animal rescues have chimed in, this isn't just about us-- it's about ALL types of nonprofits! From medical conditions like cancer or rare diseases to veterans, children, housing, feeding the community, mental health, religious, educational, scientific, literary, public safety, sport, civic, social welfare and SO MANY MORE types of organizations that have benefitted from the AmazonSmile program. 

We truly THANK Amazon for the decade of support and want them to know that they made an impact in the community that can't be replaced by any other entity! Their .5% was a drink of water in the desert that was covid for nonprofits. Now, in our unsure times, having that .5% was a beautiful blessing to count on, "good old Amazon"!

We urge you to share this petition with every nonprofit you can find and ask them to sign and share, too. We want the decision makers at Amazon to understand that ending the Smile program will negatively impact communities worldwide. We understand their needs as a business to watch the bottom line and invest to grow, hey, even nonprofits are businesses! The decision to remove the individual shopper's choice to support their hand-picked nonprofit will damage their relationships with their shoppers and the communities they live in-- that's easy to see by searching #amazonsmile on any social media platform. 

As we rush toward 10,000 signatures, our hearts swell with appreciation to everyone who is speaking out for "the little guys". Thank you all.
