Hi Guys, So, CCTA has released the draft EIR to Caltrans for their final review. I've emailed Caltrans multiple times with questions about why they are pursuing this EIR. Caltrans told me this is a CCTA issue, they are just making sure the EIR meets their guidelines. One of their guidelines is that community input was gathered. I imagine, CCTA puts on the EIR that they sought community input, Caltrans reads this in the EIR, OK, CHECK!! So, seemingly out of the blue, the head of the San Ramon Transportation Dept. and the city general manager want to meet with me and a couple of others. This should happen this week. I'd bet money they've seen the EIR already, even though CCTA told me they've only released it to Caltrans! Our city council votes on the EIR 60 days after they get it from CCTA, which should happen in a couple of months.
