The local community is excited about the prospect of having new netball and basketball courts installed in Grevillia Park Reserve, however remain concerned that the existing playground equipment will remain outdated and surrounding park left unattended.

In writing this petition, there are a few things we'd like you to consider.

As there will be community use of the two new courts, an upgrade of the existing play equipment for young children needs to be considered to bring it up to safe and modern standards. Similar to the play equipment installed on Reg Groth Reserve and Andrew Smith Drive Oval.

In addition, the surrounding park is run-down and badly in need of some irrigation and grass all year round. This will allow young kids and teenagers to get outdoors, kick a ball and run around.

We'd appreciate the above two proposals to be considered and implemented in conjunction with the existing works currently being undertaken by the council and the Holy Family Catholic School.
