A dog was run over in the broad daylight by a driver despite the dog being in view. The driver never apologised once and refused to even accept the injustice of it. He tried to blame the dog instead. He said, “atleast it lives” for a dog who suffered serious trauma after being under the wheels of the car.

Negligent driving and a lenient attitude from the community towards these drivers is dangerous not just for the animals but the community as a whole. 

A just example needs to be set. The offender must enrol in community service and write a letter of apology.
