Dear Readers, I have postponed informing you of the reply I got from the Minister for Local Government as I thought it more important to tell you about the following. Many comments in my last update suggested I break the law and remove the cat from its solitary confinement prison. This I am not prepared to do. I was brought up to respect the law, as my Father always insisted it was the only safeguard for working people to get any sort of justice or fair treatment in society. So I have found, but I can understand the frustration of some who ask me to break the law, commit criminal damage etc. and in the process possibly risk my freedom. Laws are our safeguard and they should be the safeguard for that poor solitary cat, as it is protected under POCTA from the treatment it is receiving. We must fight to get that law enforced, and it is not the wayto do so by breaking other laws, ie trespass, criminal damage and theft.

So please everyone fight for that cat’s rights. Let everyone know about its plight, advertise the situation on Facebook and tell your friends about it and get them to sign the petition! Also write to Cowra Council, the Premier of NSW, the Minister for Local Government etc. More about this in my next update

One reader said that petitions are a waste of time. I am still trying to puzzle out why he should read my petition.

Please note that I usually have a delay of at least 2 weeks between updates. This is not because I have nothing to say, far from it. I just need as many people as possible to read and sign.

The more people that sign the greater the chance of success. If you do not believe me consider our Prime Minister. He came back for his hols in Hawaii and told young and old that the bush fires were solely the States’ responsibility. A few days later he visited a small town in NSW and a few people would not shake his hand. Suddenly over 2 billion dollars was made available for the fire situation. Was he worried about the bad publicity or maybe he is just a kind and wonderful fellow?

Please fight with all the power at your command, and that lies in getting the situation known to as many as possible.

Also support any organisations such as RSPCA Full Exposure on Facebook or the petition by Vasant Wagh on change.org called `Australia Post must never cover up identity theft’. Corruption is becoming a very big problem in Australia, and at all levels of society.

Once more please fight for our rights and the rights of others. And do it lawfully! Thanks Keith
