Dear Readers, another update to keep you all informed with the current situation. In my last posting I published the email I sent to all Councillors. This was addressed to them both via the Council website also to their individual email addresses. I have not received a reply from any of them!

I also told you I had written to the Minister for Local Government and I have had a reply. This I shall disclose details of in my next update (hopefully to be very soon). The reply was not what I had hoped for.

Regarding the situation with the solitary cat. It continues to get food and water usually every second day. The temperatures continue to be hot in Cowra, today it is 36 degrees C. so I would think the food is rancid by the second day.

The cat appears to be healthy but is obviously very lonely, and I can only guess at its damaged psychological state. When I approach the fence it follows me around the fence line, but any sudden movements and it will scuttle off.

We are now into Autumn so the high temperatures will start to drop, and then the poor thing will face many cold winter nights, as it has done for the last 4 years.
