Dear Readers, developments have taken place at Camp Kitty! An RSPCA NSW Inspector visited today (2-7-19) and he took photos of the cat enclosure. I got the impression the Inspector regarded my ongoing campaign as a personal matter regarding his involvement in this situation. We did have a disagreement over POCTA and the requirements.
I did tell him that I did not want to have the RSPCA NSW take the cat away as I did not have faith in the RSPCA NSW. When he asked why, I explained that the RSPCA NSW kills just over 48% of the cats it comes into contact with. That was not well received.
If the RSPCA NSW do remove this animal I would like it to be known to all that I have a good home waiting for it. However I think it is wishful thinking that the RSPCA NSW would release that cat to me. This cat deserves a good home. It has suffered for 3 years throughout the hot summers and the very cold winters.
At one time I expect it would have had a good home, prior to its arrival at Camp Kitty, and hope it can get another good home!
Today’s photo shows the very one that started my petition. The RSPCA NSW have let me know they do not like old photos shown!!!
I hope readers can let the RSPCA NSW know that we expect the cat to be well looked after and not killed. Unfortunately it seems to be the policy of the organisation not to release any details of what has gone on regarding the large number of cats that were previously removed, or I expect what happens to this one.

ps. Standing up for animal rights is not a happy task. I have been posting about this cat on the local Facebook site – `Spread the word in Cowra and Surrounds’, for a couple of weeks now. One comment about me was `Called him agitator, spy and thief. Shut him up in third degree’. Not the most cohesive comments from this reader but I think you will all get the idea.
BELOW I PRINT A PREVIOUS UPDATE (almost 3 years old). It tells the same message about the cat suffering.
On the 29th Sept 16 David Conole posted this message from the RSPCA NSW to my previous update site. It stated -
The RSPCA is aware of the claims on the change.org website regarding the welfare of cats.
The RSPCA have conducted inspections of the property and the cats contained upon it, as a result of these inspections a number of cats have been seized for alleged offences under the Protection of Cruelty to Animals Act and are being held in RSPCA care pending the outcome of court proceedings. The owner of these animals has been charged with a total of 25 alleged animal cruelty offences and the matter is currently before the courts.
The RSPCA continues to monitor the welfare of animals on the property. Contrary to assertions on change.org if offences are detected and can be proved then appropriate action will be taken, including seizure of further animals.
As this matter is presently before the courts we are unable to provide further details to the public at this time.
Kind Regards RSPCA
Firstly many thanks for David and all the others who have made inquiries and posted comments
I thank the RSPCA also for releasing details of the court proceedings.
However I still must ask WHAT IS HAPPENING ABOUT THE CAT WHICH IS STILL ALL BY ITSELF IN THE PEN BEARING UP TO UNBELIEVABLE WEATHER? WILL IT BE RESCUED?
Last night we had freezing conditions on these properties outside Cowra. The RSPCA is aware of these conditions under which this poor unfortunate animal is held. Whether the owner of Camp Kitty is prosecuted for this offence is minor (in my mind) to saving it and giving it proper shelter!
The RSPCA has said it is aware of the claims that is made on this site. What I have said above is not a claim; it is a question and also a request! Please save this animal!
