Hello once again. Another update to bring everyone into the picture. The cat still has not been rescued and night time temperature fall below zero. Both the AWL and RSPCA NSW will not act, as I have previously posted. I shall be writing very soon to the Dept. of Primary Industries (the Administrator of POCTA) about this.
Most of my recent endeavors have been to get Cowra Council to act, and to this end I have joined a local community group. It is called Spread the word in Cowra and Beyond, and is on Facebook. It is a closed site but open for everyone to join. I encourage you to join. Below is the most recent posting, and is the fifth one I have made there.

Dear Readers, thank you once more for your continued interest and comments. Last posting determined that the Council can act on matters of POCTA and also enter private property. No resident should just accept a statement from Rangers that they cannot enter private property. There are limitations on their rights to do that, but if you get told they cannot enter private property please challenge that statement.
One reader has called me an agitator. Yes, if fighting for a more accountable Council and the protection of animal welfare in Cowra is being an agitator then I humbly accept that title, and I feel humbled that it has been bestowed on me!
I want all residents of Cowra therefore to become agitators, and I ask that they join an agitator group.
I will call it Secret Society of Cowra Agitators (SOCA). Membership is easy, simply COPY and PASTE this message to the General Manager of Cowra Council.
Dear General Manager, Could you please act to stop the continued infringement of POCTA in Cowra which is continuing at Camp Kitty? Can you also please advise me that you will do this, and do so promptly as the animal in question is now suffering from its inadequate accommodation in the cold winter conditions. It is also not getting adequate supervision. There are also other breaches of POCTA that it has to endure. Regards (your name).

Please remember that you may be subjected to abuse if you disclose you have joined SOCA, in the same way that others have been abused in the past for standing up for animal welfare. So may be wise not to post that you have joined. However this site is about bringing change and encouraging Cowra Council to be `fit for purpose’.

Today’s photo shows the unhappiness that one cat had to suffer about 4 years ago. This was when the Council and Animal Welfare Groups were doing nothing to protect its rights!

Be warned some of the comments you will receive if you comment will shock you. However as the saying goes `they walk amongst us’. Do not think if you do join the discussion that all the inhabitants of Cowra are barbarians, but some are (and maybe many)!
