I keep posting the photo of this poor cat as the sight of it made me so sad, to die in such squalor, and when I saw it lying there I vowed to make its passing not go unnoticed or without purpose!

So, my campaign now is to try and encourage RSPCA NSW into becoming an organisation that truly has the welfare of animals at heart.

The latest information about Camp Kitty is that I saw an RSPCA inspector visiting last week holding papers in his hand. I do not believe he visited to see about `the solitary cat’, maybe it was legal documentation he was delivering. The `solitary cat’ is still in the pen. It had to suffer -7 and -8 degree nights last winter. It will be suffering 40 degree plus days now in summer time.

Today I publish the emails that Carol has sent me in her efforts to get the RSPCA NSW to provide answers.

I just spoke with the RSPCA (Monica) and was told it's an ongoing case which can't be discussed.

I pointed out the case has been heard a long time ago and she said this is a new one.

Huh ??

So, no information forthcoming there.

I pretty much begged her to take your offer of help and to not put the cat down.

Thank you for wanting to help and finding someone who can give this dear cat the time it will need to readjust to

living a life it should have had for far too long.

This case has been extremely frustrating since I first learned about it.

If it is a new investigation, everyone who has contacted the RSPCA should have been informed of this.

Of course you can use the information I gave you in your next update including the name of the person I spoke to.

When I called, I rang them on 1300 CRUELTY,  not the number you posted in your update.

So my call was logged as a new animal abuse report.

For some reason she couldn't find any record of me calling previously about Camp Kitty.

From memory, I spoke with a man in the field about the case several times, before they went to court.

I am totally done with the RSPCA. There is another case of extreme neglect of horses in Qld and they refuse to act, leaving it to Bio Security, Qld.

Anyway, look forward to your next update and responses it receives.

I'm so glad many people care what happens to that poor cat.
