I posted this yesterday as a comment but some readers may not have seen it. The photo shows the dining conditions when previously the rspca had insisted that there were no welfare issues, when it was obvious that the cats were living in filth and could cut themselves on empty cans!

More in a few days, and thanks so much to all the people who have taken the time to comment.
I am aware that the RSPCA NSW has taken action against Mr McCudden however this was after a lengthy change.org campaign and letters to all the MP's of the NSW Parliament and each Council in NSW. The RSPCA has never attempted to have any conversation with me to explain the facts of the situation. I've had 2 conversations with RSPCA NSW, during the first conversation it was a matter of the Inspector asking me how did I know that the cat was dead and ended with the Inspector telling me he was too busy. During the 2nd conversation, it was to collect evidence and obtain copies of our records and photographic evidence/ information. Both conversations were witnessed. I would ask all readers to ask the RSPCA to produce the evidence of his alleged attempts of any conversations with me where any information as claimed was provided to me. Regarding the monitoring and regular feeding of the cats at the premises, perhaps the RSPCA would actually state how many times they have inspected since Mr McCudden's prosecution and whether it was as a result of complaints made to the RSPCA. Further, the cats were not fed for 3 days and because the cats spent all days and nights wailing with hunger, I fed them. Having said all that, I thank the RSPCA for their efforts in relation to the prosecution of Mr McCudden. I appreciate that it was not an easy feat and Cowra Shire Council could and should have done more to work with and assist the RSPCA. The problem with Mr McCudden was largely allowed to escalate by Cowra Shire Council who was the responsible Council where the cats were housed. The Council only became involved because of the change.org campaign. neighbourhood pressure, multiple repeated photographic evidence and reports, monthly representations at Council Meetings and a very good feature by Floyd Cush of Prime7 News. Also I believe that as Council was up for re election, they showed interest in the matter and the Mayor made a few statements. I do not doubt that there were some genuine interest shown and some genuine support was demonstrated by some of the caring councillors, however, the persons in charge of the issue had allowed the matter to drift along. Unless we complained, Council sat back and since the Court ruling, there has been very little monitoring done by Council. They have served McCudden with Orders but little is being done to enforce these orders. More to follow in my next update.
