The RSPCA NSW has allegedly accused this site of issuing false and misleading statements. I ask that the RSPCA provide evidence in support of their statements.
Our aim is to prevent cruelty taking place and hold organisations or people accountable!
Below is an email sent to the CEO of the RSPCA NSW Steve Coleman which demonstrates that we have tried to prevent cruelty and offer financial assistance where possible for vet care.
Dear Mr Coleman
Further to our telephone discussion on Thursday 26 February 2015, as promised, please find attached recent photographs of conditions at camp kitty. The recent photographs of the cat with the pus filled orbits were taken yesterday evening. The photograph of the white powder on the ground of the cats enclosure was scattered onto the ground on Sunday 1 March 2015. The Cowra Council Ranger did attend to investigate the incident. The cats owner did state that he had used three bags of Lime, he did not exclude the cats from the area when the lime was being scattered and I observed the cats running away in search of a safe place to hide, also the cats were experiencing paroxysmal sneezing.
Keith Climpson and I guarantee that we will cover the cost of the associated vet bills for providing the cat with the pus orbits veterinary care.
Regards
Marjorie Riley
This email was sent on 3rd March 2015. To date a response has not been received and we have never found out what eventually happened to this poor animal. I guess it died in absolute agony!
Maybe someone can find out.
I sent the above email to scoleman@rspcansw.org.au
I have often wondered why the RSPCA seems to be indifferent to help when it is of direct benefit to an animal. Maybe in this case it was because the RSPCA were continuing to insist that there were no welfare issues.
