On Wednesday 3rd Aug 2016, Richard William McCudden, owner of Camp Kitty, Cowra, was due to appear at Cowra Magistrates Court to face 13 criminal charges relating to 'Being In Charge Of An Animal And Failing To Provide It With Veterinary Treatment'. Richard McCudden did not appear nor did his Legal Representative, however it is reported that his Legal Representative held discussions with the Police Prosecutor. The matters are adjourned for further mention on Wednesday 7 September 2016. It has taken approximately 5 years for the RSPCA NSW to take action against this Hoarder. In-spite of repeated reports to the RSPCA from concerned neighbours, members of the public and Cowra Shire Council, the RSPCA repeatedly maintained that “there were no welfare issues” in relation to the cats under Richard McCudden control. Is there a reason for this inaction and indifference on this organisation's behalf? Richard McCudden has now moved most of the cats to another location and given his track record, what will happen to the voiceless creatures? The most important thing is now to urge the RSPCA NSW to seek a lifetime ban on this man owning any animals! Please help with this task, and either phone or email them. Their phone no is 02 9770 7555 and their email address is mail@rspcansw.org.au Thanks for all your efforts.
