We, the undersigned residents of Harborne, Birmingham, are asking Royal Mail to reconsider any proposed changes that would result in our current postman Chris Chung being moved from our delivery round.

Over many years, he has become a trusted and much-valued member of our community. His professionalism, reliability, friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond have earned him the respect and affection of residents throughout Harborne.

For many elderly and vulnerable residents in particular, the continuity and reassurance provided by a familiar face are of real importance. We believe that the exceptional relationship he has built with the community should be recognised and taken into account when decisions are made.

We understand that Royal Mail must manage its workforce according to established procedures, but we respectfully ask that every effort is made to allow our postman to remain serving the Harborne community.

By signing this petition, we ask Royal Mail to listen to the voices of local residents and to keep our postman on his current round.
