On the evening of June 2nd 2019 inside the Merritt Island, FL Walmart, Shawn was senselessly taken away from us much too early. As he was leaving the store he was met by his murderer and shot in the face.     Shawn was murdered by an employee there while the other employees and even management just watched and gossiped about it. Those people that done this to him are free to move on with their lives.  As for the ones who truly loved him struggle to live without him day to day.  Shawn deserves TRUTH & JUSTICE . Just like with so many other victims families in this country need; These laws that protect the actions of the people doing wrong need to CHANGE!  We challenge this stand your ground law, No one should be able to lie in wait to kill an unarmed man and profess Stand your ground. Especially in a public store. There are so many other families going through the same pain we are. They just let victims families suffer without any justice, especially one of this nature.  And that has to change.  It should be fair to all involved and the people of a jury should be the ones that decide the case. Not an office full of lawyers that worry about money or their status, instead of loss of life and justice.  There also needs to be stricter restrictions in work place relationships. If it was someone in their family what would they do then?

We are losing too many loved ones to Gun Violence. The wrong people have access to guns. And the wrong people are hiding behind this "law".

WE NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE! This stand your ground law is allowing people to get away with murder.
