The parents of Richard Avenue Primary School Sunderland want to start this petition, to save our headteacher after she issued a letter to a individual community that could of been worded/dealt with better but her heart was in the right place. All she wanted was to protect all families within her school and she apologised for this letter but this might cost her her job. I speak for the majority of parents when I say how amazing Mrs Todd is with all children and families from all communities, she is the heart of the school and doesn’t deserve to lose her job over one letter that she apologised for, for all the great things she’s done for the people of every community I think everyone needs a reminder on what she has done for us all, this lady is an inspiration she’s strong loving and puts her all into her school, I have never seen a head more involved then her, she is always keeping our children save and happy and offering support to families of all communities, Mrs Todd is very proud of her multi cultural school. Lets not take the job of an amazing lady who made the school the way it is today, let’s also take this opportunity to show our children a great life lesson to accept an apology and move forwards together united as one because we are all apart of one amazing community and that’s Richard Avenue Primary School so please help us save our headteacher and get her back in school where she belongs. This is for our children think of them they love Mrs Todd the children want Mrs Todd back in school let’s teach our children to forgive and become stronger together don’t let one mistake out-way all the good she has done.
