As a result, they have determined that Ramsay Health Care will no longer be accepting referrals for these services in our region, stating that their contract is limited to a narrow part of the pain management pathway.

This decision directly affects not only myself but countless others who rely on Ramsay Health Care’s specialised services. Ramsay Health Care has been a lifeline for many, offering effective pain relief solutions that enable us to live our lives more fully. Their expertise in managing pain is unparalleled and crucial for many residents of Lancashire and South Cumbria.

I urge the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB to reconsider this decision. By halting referrals to Ramsay Health Care, they are not only jeopardising our health but also our livelihoods.
