Resumption of direct flights Toronto to Havana
The Issue
Air Canada used to operate popular direct flights between Toronto and Havana (round trips). The flights were suspended due to the COVID and even though Air Canada announced that it would resume the flights in October 2022, no travel has started.
At this moment there isn’t any airlines flying from Toronto to Havana, which makes extremely difficult, expensive and long time consuming to reach that destination (some instances taking as long as 2 days, when a normal flight would take 3 and a half hours).
With this request we kindly request that weekly direct flights be reestablished to link these two important cities, Toronto and Havana. These flights will not only allow tourists to visit the capital of Cuba, thus helping the Canadian airline and tourism companies increase profits, but will also allow Cuban-Canadians to reach their families in Havana and other provinces near the capital at a price and reasonable time.

Air Canada solía operar vuelos directos populares entre Toronto y La Habana (ida y vuelta). Los vuelos fueron suspendidos debido al COVID y aunque Air Canada anunció que reanudaría los vuelos en octubre de 2022, no se ha iniciado ningún viaje.
En este momento no hay ninguna línea aérea que vuele desde Toronto a La Habana, lo que hace extremadamente difícil, caro y lento llegar a ese destino (en algunos casos tarda hasta 2 días, cuando un vuelo normal tardaría 3 horas y media).
Con esta petición solicitamos que se restablezcan los vuelos directos semanales para unir estas dos importantes ciudades, Toronto y La Habana. Estos vuelos no sólo permitirán a los turistas visitar la capital de Cuba, ayudando así a la aerolínea canadiense y a las compañías turísticas a aumentar sus ganancias, sino que también permitirán a los cubano-canadienses llegar a sus familias en La Habana y otras provincias cercanas a la capital a un precio y tiempo razonables.
