Rokeby Beach could be a beautiful space for the local community. Large amounts of concrete and other man-made waste covers large areas of the beach. 

The man-made waste impacts the environment, safety, and enjoyability of our beach for our community. 

We have the power to make a positive difference in our community!

Sign this petition to rally the Clarence City Council to:

• Undertake a Natural Values Assessment to identify any environmental issues or needs to be addressed and provide a Biodiversity Action Plan to undertake any conservation requirements with ongoing monitoring of the beach;
• Remove all man-made waste from the beach;
• Engage the Derwent Estuary Program to test and monitor water safety levels at Rokeby Beach every 3 months for the next 5 years and take any action necessary to remediate poor water quality

The Clarence Plains Draft Master Plan, which is currently out for public consultation, does not include any specific proposed action to improve Rokeby Beach.
