Letter to
U.S. House of Representatives
U.S. Senate
President of the United States
We need to aggressively move toward energy independence. Our dependence on oil and energy sources from foreign countries has damaged our environment, undermined the health of our economy, financially propped up dangerous regimes and threatened our national security. We have heard speeches for decades about the need to rid ourselves of this addiction. Now is the time for action.

The government needs to take the first and hardest step --making the the federal and state government buildings near Zero Carbon Footprint. By requiring all new government buildings to be designed and constructed with green energy systems and high energy efficiency materials and insulation, requiring all existing government buildings be retrofitted with green energy systems (solar, wind, geo-thermal, etc) and insulated to modern standards by 2020, and using only American companies and manufacturers, America will be launched toward a new energy future.

Government energy overhead will be dramatically reduced, American green energy manufacturing and design will be firmly established, the cost of green energy systems will become affordable for average Americans, and foreign oil imports will be dramatically reduced. Leadership in this area is critical. Government must take the first step. The time for talk is over, we need action now.
