The absence of a platinum trophy for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on PS5 has been a personal disappointment. A platinum trophy is more than just an achievement; it's a testament to the dedication and skill we gamers invest into our passion. It's about recognition and respect within our community.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, released in 2011, was one of the most successful games in the franchise with over 30 million copies sold worldwide (source: Statista). Despite its popularity and success, there is no platinum trophy available for players on PS5. This omission not only diminishes the sense of accomplishment but also undermines the game's value.

We are not asking for something unprecedented. Many other popular games offer platinum trophies as part of their gaming experience. It’s time that Microsoft/Activision acknowledges this oversight and rectifies it by adding a platinum trophy to Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on PS5.

When Microsoft officially acquired Activision we gamers made our concerns heard loud and clear about Call of Duty.  The PS5 version of the game missing a platinum trophy is the beginning of a slippery slope of making the PlayStation version inferior to the Xbox version.  Yes, the PS4 has a platinum trophy but the PS4 is not the current generation PlayStation console.

For readers of this petition who may not be interested in the Call of Duty series, let me share a personal story that may persuade you to join in this cause.  I think this story might connect more with the guy readers.  As a typical 14 year old guy, I went through the traditional "passage to adulthood" by moving from embarrassing briefs/boxer-briefs to the more grown-up boxer shorts.  When I finally got to wear boxer shorts it felt like I  reached a point in my life where I can hold my head up high with confidence knowing that I can take on anything.  When I was wearing briefs/boxer-briefs I felt weak and worthless.  Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3  for the PS5 getting a platinum trophy is the equivalent to a guy switching over to boxer shorts.  It makes you feel proud, confident, and you gain a sense of true accomplishment.  Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3  for the PS5 NOT getting a platinum trophy is reverting back to briefs/boxer-briefs.  It makes you feel back to being a kid rather than an adult.  My apologies if I was not eloquent enough in my personal story.
