RequestCanadian Parliament and United Nations to address human rights concerns in Kashmir
The Issue
What is the issue?
We, the Canadian Kashmiri community, are deeply concerned about the reported situation in Pakistani Administered Kashmir, where local communities have raised concerns regarding governance, public services, economic challenges, and the protection of fundamental rights. Recent peaceful demonstrations have reportedly resulted in serious concerns about civilian safety, alleged excessive use of force, injuries, loss of life, and the treatment of detained individuals. Many families in Canada are also distressed due to difficulties contacting loved ones and uncertainty about their safety.
What change do we want?
As members of the Canadian Kashmiri community, we call for the protection of civilians, respect for peaceful assembly and freedom of expression, transparency regarding detained individuals, and an independent and impartial review of reported incidents. We urge meaningful dialogue, accountability, and peaceful solutions that address the concerns of the people of Pakistani Administered Kashmir.
Why does it matter?
This issue is personal to us because we are connected to the people and communities affected. Our families, friends, and loved ones are directly impacted by the situation. We believe every person deserves safety, dignity, justice, and the right to have their voice heard peacefully.

Please support this peaceful appeal by signing this petition, sharing it widely, and standing with communities seeking protection, accountability, and respect for human rights in Pakistani Administered Kashmir.
