The Issue

Dear World Education Services (WES),

We are a group of Iranian applicants seeking Educational Credential Assessments (ECA) for immigration and professional purposes.

Due to the ongoing regional conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, daily life in Iran is severely disrupted. Internet access in many regions is completely unavailable for prolonged periods, and international postal and air services are suspended or unreliable. Universities are often inaccessible, making it impossible for most applicants to send official transcripts either digitally or by mail.

These disruptions put our immigration opportunities, including Canada’s Express Entry and other time-sensitive programs, at serious risk—even though we meet all educational requirements.

We respectfully request that WES implement temporary alternative verification measures, such as:

  1. Allowing provisional evaluations until official verification is possible
  2. Considering alternative methods for verifying documents without requiring direct submission from universities
  3. Providing extended timelines to accommodate applicants affected by these extraordinary disruptions

By adopting these measures, WES can ensure fairness for Iranian applicants while maintaining the integrity of its evaluation process. This flexibility would prevent qualified individuals from being unfairly disadvantaged by circumstances beyond their control.

We urge WES to consider this request urgently. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of Iranian applicants striving for education, career advancement, and a better future.

Please sign this petition to help encourage WES to implement these urgently needed policy adjustments.

Sincerely,
Concerned Iranian Applicants
