Eastern Freeway Upgrade – Alphington (Chandler Highway to Burke Road) 
 
We, the undersigned residents and supporters, call on the Victorian Government and the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority to undertake further noise assessment for properties north of the Eastern Freeway between Chandler Highway and Burke Road, and to provide additional noise mitigation where required. 

We respectfully request that the Victorian Government: 

• Conduct new baseline traffic noise measurements at representative properties in Alphington between Chandler Highway and Burke Road.
• Review and validate the noise modelling using these measurements. 
• Publicly release the findings and explain how local conditions have been considered. 
• Consider additional noise mitigation measures, including noise walls, where supported by the evidence. 

By signing this petition, we support a transparent review of the noise assessment process to ensure residents are appropriately protected from traffic noise associated with the Eastern Freeway Upgrade.
