The Issue

I am writing this petition to highlight and seek accountability for the deeply distressing experience I had with the delivery service company, DPD. Not only did a particular driver, Vikaash, target me with discriminatory behavior due to my disability, but the company as a whole attempted to cover up this gross misconduct. This not only violates my personal rights under the Disability Discrimination and Equality Act of 2010 and the Human Rights Act of 1998, but it undermines the spirit of fairness and equality that these laws uphold.

**Deliberate Targeting and Cover-Up**

Despite the clear legal obligations outlined in these laws, DPD blatantly ignored their anticipatory duty to cater to my needs as a disabled person. This anticipatory duty is a fundamental requirement that necessitates service providers to foresee and address potential access needs of disabled individuals, ensuring they don't face barriers that could have been avoided. The targeted campaign of discrimination against me involved canceling my orders vindictively and breaching delivery contracts with false claims of missed deliveries. These actions not only impacted my daily life and wellbeing but also caused me considerable financial loss.

**Violation of Legal Duties**

The Disability Discrimination and Equality Act of 2010, along with the Human Rights Act of 1998, are clear on the importance of making reasonable adjustments and taking necessary steps to prevent disability-related discrimination. DPD's failure to provide these reasonable adjustments and their role in the deliberate cover-up of these actions cannot be overlooked. As a service provider, DPD should have ensured that my rights were protected, yet they chose to ignore these crucial responsibilities.

**Call for Action**

This petition demands that DPD is held accountable for their actions, that they issue a formal apology, and undertake immediate measures to ensure no other customer suffers from the kind of discrimination that I have faced. There needs to be greater transparency in their processes and strict penalties for employees who participate in discriminatory practices. With your support, we can urge DPD to change their practices to better serve all individuals, promoting inclusivity and respect for all, regardless of their physical abilities.

Please sign this petition to advocate for justice and to stand against discrimination. Together, we can make a difference.
