Snow leopards are way better than pandas. The elegant grace and endangered status of snow leopards make them a more compelling and urgent conservation focus. Unlike the relatively stable population of captive giant pandas, there are fewer than 7,000 snow leopards left in the wild, and they face severe threats from poaching and habitat loss (WWF, 2021). Bringing them to the Adelaide Zoo could significantly boost awareness and funding for their preservation.
