This is a serious proposal. It is not a joke.

In every declining nation, there is a common factor. Incompetent, malicious, or incompelicious politicians destroying a once-great country (apart from Canada, which never was that good, to be honest) with policies or propositions that seem actively detrimental to civilisation. Ducks don't generally carry that baggage. Because of that, they would almost certainly make better politicians. If all politicians were replaced with ducks (only the best ducks,) a study by the University of Central Southern Ohio found that crime would decrease 16.82%, Unemployment would rise 19.71%, depression would go down 194.191%, and patriotism would increase 1.91%. What is stopping this from becoming a reality is that inflation has increased the cost of kidnapping sacks, a humane and effective method of removing politicians from office. If this petition gets enough signatures, it will inspire an international funding of such sacks and turn this into a reality. The ducks would be ethically sourced from a nearby pond and the most suitable candidates would be chosen by a panel of psychologists, sociologists, eugenicists, and anthropologists. The ducks would be placed in said buildings, taught to speak all relevant languages (apart from Canadian), and left to their own devices to make each country better.
