George Joseph "Mike" Kelly Jr. is an American politician and businessman, currently serving as a U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Butler, Pennsylvania, Kelly has been representing the state's 16th congressional district since 2011. The district was previously known as the 3rd district until 2019 and spans from Erie to the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh. A member of the Republican Party, Kelly is an entrepreneur, having owned Hyundai and Kia franchises, as well as Kelly Chevrolet-Cadillac Inc. His public service career includes serving on the Butler City Council from 2006 to 2009 and the local board of education from 1992 to 1995. Kelly graduated from Butler High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.
