Repeal New Hampshire’s legal shield for gun maker and protect public safety

The Issue

Injured police officers. Wounded civilians. More than 100 lawsuits across the country. All pointing to one thing: serious concerns about the safety of the Sig Sauer P320 pistol, which allegedly fires without the trigger being pulled. But instead of allowing the courts to decide these cases on the facts, New Hampshire lawmakers just passed a law that makes it harder to hold gunmakers accountable.

This law doesn’t protect public safety—it protects corporate power. It gives blanket legal immunity to Sig Sauer and other firearm manufacturers, even as people continue to be injured by guns that may have critical design flaws.

No other company in New Hampshire has been given this kind of exemption. And no gunmaker should be above accountability when lives are on the line. Whether you're a gun owner or not, we all deserve to know that the products on the market—especially deadly ones—are safe and responsibly made.

We’re calling on New Hampshire legislators to repeal this dangerous law and restore fair access to justice. Let the courts do their job. Let the truth come out. And let’s put people before profits—before more lives are put at risk.
