The centres and pools all shut for the pandemic.

Thankfully, they reopened months and months ago.

But the kids pools and flumes remain CLOSED across the city. 

The people affected are the children who  endured 2 years of lockdown, decreased socialising, decreased leisure activities. Many of them are babies and toddlers who can’t swim and need to learn.

That’s why these shallow and safe pools were built and are required now.  The closure of local pools is delaying some children from learning this potentially life saving skill.

These pools and flumes also provide an indoor, local and affordable leisure activity for families with young children experiencing hardship with the rising cost of living.
