I, along with countless others spanning many years, have been influenced, inspired, and positively impacted by Mr. Alec Brader. Mr. Brader served tirelessly as a Physical Education teacher and Deputy Headmaster at William Lovell Academy until his passing in October 2024. Considering his enormous contribution, dedication and immense influence on students, we are proposing the renaming of the school's gym in honor of Mr. Brader.

Over his distinguished career, Mr. Brader's work transcended the confines of the classroom. His lessons went beyond the physical; they shaped characters, taught respect, and instilled values in thousands of students. Part of his legacy lies in the students whose lives he touched, many of whom went on to achieve great things, in part, due to his guidance.

Renaming the gym after Mr. Brader will be more than an act of remembrance; it will be a celebration of his commitment and dedication. It will serve as a lasting tribute, reminding future generations of students about a teacher whose influence was monumental and lasting. Let's honor Mr. Alec Brader MBE by renaming the William Lovell Academy's gym 'The Alec Brader MBE Gym'. Please join us by signing this petition and paying tribute to a truly remarkable educator.
