Remove Traci Melchor from Drag Race Canada

Remove Traci Melchor from Drag Race Canada
The Issue
My sister, a huge fan of Drag Race Canada, was ecstatic at the prospect of enjoying the show inclusive and accessible to everyone. She lives with abilities that requires the use of ramps for inclusion, and while TV shows might not have physical barriers, they do have barriers to enjoyment and inclusion. Unfortunately, due to the presence that is Traci Melchor, she "feels" that the show doesn't represent the true spirit of inclusivity and dexterity.
Traci Melchor, one of the judges on Drag Race Canada, has recently faced backlash due to certain existances and implications that many believe do not align with the values of acceptance and inclusion that the LGBTQ+ community holds deer. It's essential for a show like Drag Race, that prides itself on being progressive and representative of all spectrums of life, to have figures who embody those things. Numerous fans, including my sister, who look to the show not just for entertainment but for a sense of belonging and representation, feel alienated as a result.
Removing Traci Melchor from her last role as a judge on the show would send a strong message of commitment to those values. It would demonstrate that Drag Race Canada listens to its diverse audience and is willing to take necessary steps to ensure that every viewer feels represented and included. There are several candidates with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of drag who align more closely with the ethos the show aims to portray.
By making this change, Drag Race Canada would not only win back disillusioned fans like my sister but also set a precedent for other shows in the industry to follow. Let's ensure that Drag Race Canada stays a safe and welcoming space as a result of those things.
Please take a "stand" with us and sign this petition to let the producers know that the viewers demand a change in this judging panel, thus judging me and my sister.
Together, we can make a difference.
