We, the undersigned, petition Moreland City Council to:

Remove the unsafe bike infrastructure on Kent Road, Pascoe Vale.

The Community has spoken and it is not fit for purpose.  It is an insufficient, substandard 250 metres of intermittent concrete islands on the road that is putting thousands of elderly, people living with a disability or poor mobility and parents with young children at risk of a fall or being hit on the road getting to the large medical centre.

It is causing unnecessary road congestion and risk to pedestrians and bike riders particularly when cricket/football training and matches are being played at Cole Reserve. 

The land use and facilities on this block of Kent Road need to be accessed safely by all people and the infrastructure is having a negative social impact.
