Remove the principal at Collinsville State High School

Remove the principal at Collinsville State High School
The issue
My daughter was recently assaulted at Collinsville State High School, and I am not alone in feeling the weight of inaction and indifference from the school's administration. Unfortunately, instances of bullying and violence within the school are not isolated, and many other parents and students have shared similar experiences. The school's principal has consistently failed to address these issues effectively, leaving our children in an unsafe environment.
Bullying is a serious issue that can have long-lasting effects on students’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being. According to statistics from the National Centre Against Bullying, at least one in four students in Australia experience bullying, with many more incidents going unreported. This isn't just a statistic; it's a reality that affects the students at Collinsville State High School every day.
A school should be a haven for learning and development, not a place where fear and anxiety are daily companions. As a community, we entrust the school's leadership to take action against any form of harassment and to create a safe atmosphere for all students to thrive. The current administration's failure to implement effective anti-bullying measures is unacceptable.
Removing the principal is a necessary step toward ensuring the safety of our children. We need a leader who prioritizes student welfare and actively works to foster an inclusive and secure environment. New leadership can bring fresh perspectives and strategies to tackle bullying head-on, restoring peace and confidence among students and parents alike.
Please join us in calling for a change in leadership at Collinsville State High School. Sign this petition to demand action and accountability from those entrusted with our children's education and safety. A safer school starts with strong, responsible leadership.
