Sonic Speed Simulator is a game relased in 2022 on the Roblox platform. Every week, it would recieve a new update featuring new characters unlockable for free by completing the event.

Although, on July 20th, the game introduced a Golden Egg system which is just disguised gambling, in a kids game. The characters unlockable with this new system are Gold Style Knuckles and Gold Style Rouge but are limited, which means only a certain number of players will be able to unlock them. You can get Golden Eggs for free, 2 every 14 hours although you can also spend Robux (currency purchased with real money) to buy some. Another thing to note is that paid eggs give make you more likely to unlock one of these characters.

This is unacceptable as it is disrepectful towards loyal players who were there since the begining, it promotes gambling to young children and is against Roblox' Community Standards. We do not want video games to become online casino machines, video games are worth much more than that. By signing this petition you also stand against any form of gambling/lootboxes within video games, paid or free.
