There is a neighbor who rents a house in our neighborhood. They own a two year old or less German shepherd. This dog has gotten out multiple times, has been aggressive towards other neighbors, and has actually bit two, possibly more people with the latest being a child in their own front yard. The dog has charged at my disabled partner back in May of 2021, charged at me in June of 2021 and nearly attacking myself and my dog, the dog attacked the mail carrier back in January of this year, resulting in them being taken away via ambulance. Police and animal control say that they cannot do anything. The latest attack happened on March 23, 2022. The mail carrier was dropping a package off, the dog broke through the storm door, chased the mail carrier to their truck, ran loose in the neighborhood and attacked a child in their own yard. Police and EMS were called. This petition is for the landlord of the house to remove the owner and the dog out of the house. We as a neighborhood are scared, tired and fed up with the lack action taken by the owner of the dog, the police and animal control. We want to take back our neighborhood for the safety of all us, most importantly our children. If we can get enough people to sign our petition, this will state a message that something like this will not be tolerated in our neighborhood.

The house is at the beginning of the cul de sac. Anyone who enters or exits must past by the house.

The house is across the ways from the children's bus stop. Kids are afraid to wait for the bus and to walk home from bus stop.

Owner of the dog has never apologized or shown any remorse for the dog. They only respond with anger or insults.
