Remove Giant LED sign from Lake Monger Bridge - Save Public Open Space & support residents

The issue

Our neighbours returned home from work one day to see this 30 metre LED screen towering above their home. Over a dozen local houses used to share views of the iconic Lake Monger pedestrian bridge and now will be forced to look at this enormous LED showing travel times to the CBD.

Hundreds of daily walkers, runners, cyclists and families cross this bridge to Lake Monger/Galup; a major Perth recreation area and sacred Dreamtime site. People using the bridge now have obstructed views and are forced to look at the back of the massive black metal sign, spanning half the bridge.

There was no community consultation or even notification of the sign, which at 30 metres long has a huge visual impact on this recreation area.

Protecting our Public Open Spaces is so important for community health and happiness and how we feel about our homes and our suburb. Please support local residents and community members accessing Lake Monger who have been affected. Imagine if this sign was build just 8 metres from your home.

Please act now so we can get this sign removed or moved so that it wont affect residents, the community and so we can protect our public open spaces.

Thank you for your support, it means a lot.
