Dear support team,

We are kindly asking for the new update in Whatsapp, which now shows "channels" in the updates tab, to be removed or it should be made an option for users to switch on or off as needed. Whatsapp messenger has been a thriving platform for daily communication with family, friends and colleagues, and as such it should be mainly used for same, without the hindrance of Internet wide information or interference. We see no need for such a feature to be part of daily communications on this platform, as other platforms are already being used for such interactions and interests.
